Can Help Others But Not Self

Dear Antera:
About three years ago I was on a really good path until I had an auto accident, and since then I have had major problems with pain, bills, and personally trying to find myself. I have been religiously meditating, working with crystals, unblocking my chakras, and praying constantly to God and my higher being. In the past I have been able to help all who came to me for various things and I was very successful at it. My problem is that when I try to help myself I feel like I have been abandoned, like no one seems to listen to my prayers or cries for help.

I have heard that it is easy to help others but it's hard to help yourself. Where I live I don't have anyone around that practices what I practice to go ask their help. Please let me know if there is a way I can reach my inner soul for an answer since recently I can't seem to do it on my own.

Thank You very much for your ear.

Dear Painfully Frustrated,
It seems you are in a relationship that is dissipating your energies. One (or more) in which you are giving and giving to another who gives nothing in return. This dissipates your energy and makes you powerless. Getting out of old ruts by using your objectivity and higher insight is essential to your healing. Learning to say no to people and setting boundaries will bring you back into harmony, by honoring and loving yourself more.

Your spirit guides are fully present with you, and they and your higher self want you to know that their help now comes in the form of pure Divine Love, which they give to you constantly. The more of their love you can open to, the quicker you can heal. Loving yourself is the key to opening your heart again. I hope you will not underestimate this help you are getting from them.
