From the Winter Solstice 2005 Newsletter From St Germain: Omaran: I'm a little curious as to how accurate you feel the Mayan calendar is. I mean, some people seem to think that December 21, 2012 is it, and then we're going to go through some major change. We've been through so many prophecies and so on--things like Y2K--that I find myself having doubts as to whether it will be as major as others seem to feel. What is your opinion? ST. GERMAIN: Well, that remains to be seen. Some of the energetic prophecies and the energies that are bound to change and come in at that time will be astounding, no doubt! I do not think you need to expect the world to change physically and instantaneously as some are saying. However, how it will react is not completely known. We do know that those are very important dates. We do know that many energy patterns are leading up to that time, and that something is going to change on the planet. We are looking forward to that and have been looking forward to that time for centuries! And just BECAUSE so many people are looking forward to it, this changes what will happen as well. It is all of the lightworkers and all of the consciousness around it which is creating it. That is why it is not known--because so many people are on this planet and changing the outcome at every moment. Because of this, we do not know exactly what to expect, and anyone who tells you they do, is being rather foolish, in my opinion. Because of all the free will on this planet, and the constantly changing consciousness of the planet as a whole, with so many beings here, anything can happen! Therefore I believe that looking toward that date as a goal in making sure that your life is exactly as you want it to be before then, is a very reasonable thing to do. Make sure that you have everything in place, as you want it--that your livelihood is taken care of, that you have created what it is that you want to create on this planet, that by and large you are finished by then-that is a very good goal. And then if things continue as they are, you will be fine. If they don't, if you are thrown off the planet, or otherwise changed or taken elsewhere, or things fall apart, then you will know that you have left your legacy, and achieved your goals in helping this planet ascend.
