Dramas and Expectations

Excerpt from a message channeled by Antera on 1/3/00.

Whatever you have attached to, will resist you. This is a time of non-attachment. This is a time to be free-flowing, because this is a time of the moment. Making plans too long in advance is very difficult now. The present moment is growing larger and larger in scope, and is changing every moment. Every moment is a new moment, and has new parameters, and has new possibilities for the future. And that is the challenge. That is also the fun of it, if you can look at it that way, if you can see your lives as a string of moments, each one unique, sometimes leading to the next and sometimes unpredictable. Then gradually you give up the focus on the future, you learn to live right now in the moment, and you expand your awareness such that you have true empowerment. Because there is only power in the present moment. There is no power in the future until you get there, there is no power in the past because you can’t access it. Right now is where the power is.

The lesson for many in this time, is to be totally open to the present and to be fluid in your perceptions of what will be coming next, and not try to over-analyze or predict; continuing to do your best, to keep your heart open, to do your service to the planet without expectation. Not without goals, but without expectation.

Even among the lightworkers, so few are ready. Many are undergoing tremendous spiritual crises, or having healings or a need for healings that they did not even know was there. All that has been neglected is coming up to heal. Those who have not spent the time and done the work are having a difficult time, and your society does not provide you with the financial support and with the time and energy to deal with so many things at once…. which makes it even more difficult for those who are having all of this need for healing come up so quickly. We had hoped that many more would be ready, would be able to sail through and lead the way for others. But we are finding that many of them are still in need of healing. We can only hope that the work will be done, because they can only do it themselves. All we can do is send love, the work must be done by the individual, by the human individual.

I draw you into my embrace. I ask that you open your hearts to limitless possibilities, limitless love. I ask that you open your minds to new concepts without attaching to any. I ask that you become expanded beings, far beyond the confines of your physical part, yet including it.

Remember that all that happens on the planet is but one tiny part of reality. The greater reality is far beyond… try not to place too much importance on the daily drama. Keep your perspective within the Higher Presence. Continue to serve and press for change, but without attachment. For when you become attached, you are no longer serving. To be of service means to be aligned with the higher flow wherever it goes. And if you become attached to a particular outcome, you are no longer following the higher flow.

Your spirit knows no bounds, let it be your guiding light… My blessings go with you.
